ARCHERY SALES/TECH ASSOCIATE – (1 Position Available)

We are seeking an Archery sales/tech expert (Part-time) to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Position Summary:

Performs various Selling / Customer Service activities, to include greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance, assembly of products and direction / instruction to customers.

Position responsibilities:

  • Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
  • Troubleshoots, diagnoses and tunes all archery equipment to make certain it is safe and functioning properly.
  • Installs accessory items on Bows and demonstrates product to customers.
  • Assists customers by answering specific technical questions to help customer understand the operation of the unit and the work to be done or work already completed.
  • Replenishes product on shelves as required.
  • Keeps work area organized, clean and well stocked with supplies.
  • Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Performs other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.
  • Ability to Work 20-29 Hours a week (nights and weekends)

All new hires will be on a probation for the first ninety (90) days of employment.

RANGE COUNTER CASHIER – (1 Position Available)

We are seeking a Cashier (Part-time) to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

  • Welcome and identify customer needs
  • Explain products and services to customers
  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Keep work area presentable

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields

FIREARMS SALES ASSOCIATE – 1 FULL TIME/1 PART TIME Positions Available 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist customers with sales of outdoor sporting goods, to include but not limited:

  • Firearms and Class III products
  • Ammunition/Firearm accessories
  • Men’s and women’s apparel
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Completes Form 4473s accurately
  • Be knowledgeable of products carried and present to customers using professional sales techniques
  • Assist in maintaining store’s overall appearance; housekeeping and merchandising
  • Operate a register when required

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • A high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma is required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess strong attention to detail
  • Able to work closely with customers and co-workers
  • Must comply with SRR’s safety, security and environmental policies and procedures

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position requires reading, writing, walking, talking, hearing, bending, stooping, lifting, kneeling, counting and repetitive motions.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time is required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation:

Starting $11/hour

CAFE ASSOCIATE: – PART TIME ( 1 Position Available)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Café Associate has the responsibility of ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation, guest relations to ensure that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each guest.
This person will report directly to the Café Manager.
Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and ensuring products are consistent with company quality standards.
  • Follow OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company policies.
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Prepare menu items as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant experience, preferably in a casual dining/café concept.
  • Good communication, organization and leadership skills.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to handle challenges in a fast pace field-based environment with complex and multiple tasks & deadlines.
  • Basic personal computer literacy (Outlook, Microsoft Office, Excel, AS400).

RANGE SAFETY OFFICER – (3 Positions Available)

The Range Safety Officer plays a critical role in delivering a safe, organized and exciting shooting experience for the SRR customer. This individual must be knowledgeable about firearms, firearms safety and be willing to enforce the rules of the range with tact and diplomacy, maintaining a professional, positive demeanor with the customers and staff at all times. This person will be integral in setting and maintaining a positive image of the range and will help create a legendary customer service experience.

 Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Firearms background preferred
  • NRA RSO certification preferred

 Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer-comes-first attitude and connecting with the customer. Ensures that customers are always acknowledged in a warm and friendly manner and actively seeks to discover, understand, and respond to customer needs.
  • Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, value and mission of Saddle River Range.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep facility operating to safety standards.
  • Responsible to educate any and all range users on the proper range safety practices while exhibiting customer service and professionalism when rule enforcement is necessary.
  • Engage in quality communication with the customer, helping them choose firearms to rent and suggest additional necessary supplies for a safe and enjoyable shooting experience.
  • Assist new and inexperienced shooters on the range with basic safety information and recommending instructor training.  Provide comfort and confidence to all shooters.
  • Follows SRR’s operational policies and procedures, including those for safety and security, to ensure the safety of all employees and customers.
  • Ability to set-up and clean ranges as appropriate.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
